Mission: Our mission is to eliminate hunger in our community by providing food to fill the basic need of hungry people, increasing the independence of our clients through self-help initiatives and other innovative programs, and by raising awareness of hunger and poverty in our community.
Annual Budget: $1.5 million
Key Campaigns: Lakeview Pantry receives contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and in-kind donors, including food from the Greater Chicago Food Depository. We rely on the generosity of our community to help us feed our neighbors, and they do so by visiting our donate page at www.lakeviewpantry.org/donate-now.html
Upcoming Events: Lakeview Pantry’s foremost upcoming event is the 4th Annual Eliminate Hunger Social, hosted by Lakeview Pantry’s Young Leaders Board. On Friday, November 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. Lakeview Pantry’s Young Leaders Board will host an evening of cocktails, draft beer, an appetizer buffet, and exclusive raffle prizes at STATE Restaurant and Café (935 W. Webster Ave.). General ticketing and event information can be found at www.lakeviewpantry.org/eliminatehungersocial.html
