According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor, Black unemployment is close to 14 percent in comparison to the national rate of 8.3 percent. And though solution seekers point to earning a solid education and obtaining more job training as viable ways to curb unemployment, many people also are promoting entrepreneurship as a means of saving themselves – and the Black community at-large.
