He has been with the organization since 1995 and is a remarkably dedicated man. The energy in his StreetWise pitch along with his commitment to his work has been noticed by his customers. His customers have reached out to the StreetWise organization in order to commend Stan’s admirable character and work ethic. He has been described as an “asset to StreetWise” and many look forward to his cheerful sales pitch each day as they head to work. The following passages were recently written by one of Stan’s regular buyers to Greg Pritchett, StreetWise director of distributions. They are very impressed with Stan’s ambition and gave their permission to be quoted.
Dear Mr. Pritchett:
I have been a customer of Standard “Stan” Mitchell for over eight years. I find Stan to be exceptionally polite, professional and hard working. Stan has a great work ethic; weather conditions do not hold him back. I have told Stan this before and I sincerely mean it: his dedication inspires me. In terms of doing his job as a StreetWise vendor, I would give Stan a grade of A+. He is a great representation for your product.
Every encounter I have with Stan gives me a lift. We will usually talk sports for a minute or two but sometimes I only have time for a quick hello. I cannot tell you how important it is to see a friendly face like Stan whenever I take the train home (3 – 4 times a week). To me, Stan is more than a StreetWise vendor – he is a friend.
Thank you for this opportunity to share my thoughts on Stan. Additionally, thank you for the Entrepreneur Spotlight that featured Stan back in 2009 (Vol. 17, No. 22, May 27 – June 2, 2009). I have Stan’s birthday, December 10th, marked on my calendar.
