Dr. Patrick Angelo (Doc), is a lifelong Chicagoan with a long-term passion for helping the homeless. In 2001, Dr. Angelo began regular trips to downtown Chicago to deliver blankets, gloves, hats, food and other necessities to homeless individuals. Over the years, his mission has transformed into a movement. He now organizes teams that travel on a nightly basis to Lower Wacker Drive, where volunteers consistently care for the homeless population. For his efforts, Dr. Angelo has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, CBS News, Windy City Live and WGNTV. He was dubbed “The Angel of Lower Wacker” by the Chicago Tribune. Dr. Angelo has been a practicing periodontist for 30 plus years. He also co-founded CHC Wellbeing, a corporate wellness company, with his son. Currently, he is working with overweight and obese individuals, as well as those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, using revolutionary algorithms for food addiction patterns to reverse disease and reduce toxic inflammation in the body.
