As a result of being unemployed or underemployed, clients experience a significant amount of stress. Within its offices, StreetWise offers a number of services designed to ease the problems clients encounter by giving them a place to relax in comfort.
Respite services include:
- A “clothes closet” where clients can find a variety of clothing and shoes, at no cost, to help increase their professional wardrobe.
- Free hot meals, Monday – Friday, provided in collaboration with the Salvation Army.
- The vendor lounge, which has several large couches, comfortable chairs, tables and a television, where men and women can eat and network with other StreetWise clients.
